DMG Delta sponsors clients in Ridgeway charity walk

It’s not all boilers, air conditioning and plumbing here at DMG Delta. There’s always time for a little something extra and this weekend it’s in the form of sponsoring our clients over at Crabtree Property Management. We’ve worked with them for the past ten years so are pleased to be able to support them as they once again attempt to walk 52 miles in 24 hours.

On Saturday the team from Crabtree Property Management – lead by Managing Director Rob Robertson – will head to the Oxfordshire/Wiltshire border to take park in The Ridgewalk. It’s the second year they’ve entered so this year there’s no pretending they don’t know what they’re in for. 52 miles in 24 hours is a tough ask by anyone’s standards. Those doing the really hard work are:

Team 1
Vicky (Captain)
Ben (Vice Captain)
Adam
Legal James

Team 2
Holly (Captain)
Riaan (Vice Captain)
Will
Gemma

Team 3
Magda (Captain)
Joe (Vice Captain)
FIT James
Victoria Eyland

Team 4
Rob (Captain)
Jake (Vice Captain)
Gerard
Tom

But of course they couldn’t do the walk at all without of their support crew:

Sandra Figueira
Kerry Flynn
Aki Spyrou
Johny Wells
Tarryn Hellyar
Janine Villiger
Lorena Calinov

…..and the administrators

Raju Kotecha
John Osborn
Elaine Thatcher

Last year company Rob (who Rupert here at DMG has known for twenty years now) managed to complete the course in a more-than-respectable 22 hours. This year though he’s determined to beat his time. For updates on how the team is progressing (and whether or not Rob’s on course for that personal best he craves, follow their progress on their Facebook page).

DMG Delta sponsors the Ridgewalk.

Ridgewalk 2011: Rob's still smiling - but there are still 15 miles to go!

All the money raised in the Ridgewalk goes to SENSE, a UK charity which supports Deaf and Blind children and adults. Last year the team was proud to raise over £10 000 for this fantastic cause. And here at DMG Delta we’re pleased to have been able to support them.

So it’s good luck from us again – it’ll all be over before you know it!
