DMG Delta to sponsor award at the Property Management Awards 2012
The Property Management Awards are a red-letter event in our calendar as they not only allow many of the different people from within our industry to get together for a fabulous evening but are a great opportunity for excellence to be recognised.
We’re not at liberty to reveal the precise details of the event yet, but we can tell you that it will be in central London on December the 6th. The awards themselves are divided into a number of categories and we’re delighted to announce we will be sponsoring the “Surveyor of the Year” accolade.
The awards themselves are organised by News on the Block, which you’ll be familiar with as a great source of information for the residential leasehold property industry. They quite simply have the answer to any question you could possibly ask (and if they don’t they won’t waste any time in finding it….). They publish six magazines a year as well as producing a digital version and there’s bags of up-to-date information on their website too.
News on the Block don’t choose the award winners though – and neither in fact do we select who’s to receive the award we’re sponsoring. That important task goes to a group of property experts representing the different stakeholders in the industry: leaseholders, managing agents and freeholders.
For there to be winners there needs to be a shortlist of nominees. And that’s where you come in too as the organisers are seeking nominees. The Surveyor of the Year Award we’re sponsoring is for (and this is the official bit…): “Firms of Surveyors specialise (sic) in residential property work including surveys, party wall matters, statutory consents, licenses, building defects/repairs, project management and other related services relevant to the residential block management sector.” Obviously there are many other categories too – for full details are on the website.
The Property Management Awards are always a popular event and we wouldn’t want you as DMG Delta clients to miss out. So don’t forget to book early to avoid disappointment (and receive an early-bird discount) and we’ll look forward to seeing you there.
