Emergency boiler maintenance and repairs

It’s that time of the year when heating systems are fired up for the winter. And, as you know, the start of a very busy few weeks for heating engineers.

At DMG Delta we’re firm believers in seeing off potential problems before they arise through carefully-timed Planned Preventative Maintenance. This has a dramatic effect on reducing the number of emergency call outs. But with even the best laid plans, occasionally the unexpected can happen, and rest assured that if it does, we’re here.

For our contracted customers as well as carefully maintaining their heating and boiler plants throughout the year we also offer 24 hour emergency response.  So, for those who’ve chosen to have emergency cover too there’s the peace of mind of knowing a fully qualified engineer will be on site within four hours. We operate a “fix it first time” policy too so where it’s possible your systems will be back up and running again immediately.

In our experience though problems only occur when a system isn’t properly maintained. And so while September, October and November are the times we have a rush of calls from people whose systems have broken down it’s not the only time we’re busy. For many summer is a time when the boiler system and plant room is out of sight and out of mind, but for us it’s a great opportunity to get in while it’s shut down to carry out servicing, inspections and repairs.

In fact Autumn is also a time when new clients come to us. They call in a panic their system having broken down. We then are able to talk through what’s happened and what we could have done to prevent it. With the benefits clear many then choose to put a maintenance and inspection plan in place rather than run the risk of untimely breakdowns in the future.

Planned preventative maintenance is usually the economic option too – as our new clients discover after paying for expensive repairs. Running your plant room on a wing and a prayer will only work for so long and when the breakdown comes it could well be catastrophic and very expensive.
