Building maintenance services for St Mary’s Church
Situation: St Mary’s Church based in the heart of London, is a vibrant and outgoing organisation of over 1,600 people. The church is involved in a wide range of activities from learning and courses, to events and services. They started to meet as a church in 1997, moving into St Mary’s itself in 2002. St Mary’s Church is a stunning Grade 1 listed property which recently undertook a £3.7m renovation. The work restored the original Georgian design as well as expanding and modernising the existing facilities.
St Mary’s has a spacious auditorium and a newly created lower floor. This space is 780 square metres which is used for a variety of different events, including conferences, exhibitions and product launches. The church required a maintenance contract to ensure that their new facilities were regularly maintained, whilst causing minimum disruption to everyday activities. .
Outcome: DMG Delta put together a comprehensive and tailored maintenance programme for St Mary’s Church. This included regular servicing of their heating, ventilation and destratification fans, which are used to provide an optimum temperature in large open spaces. Along with regular servicing, DMG Delta provides the client with a 24/7 call out facility as well as ensuring quick response times to any emergencies.
